EDUCATION

• – Secondary (high) school graduation certificate (Required)
• – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Physical education teaching and coaching (Preferred)
• – Minimum 5th Degree Black Belt certified thru Kukkiwon (Required)

EXPERIENCE

• – 5 years or more of, full time, teaching experience
• – International coaching experience in Taekwondo (Sparring or Poomsae)
• – Taekwondo Tricking / Demo Team experience

WORK SITE ENVIRONMENT

• – Air conditioned
• – Non-smoking

WORK SETTING

• – Taekwondo (Korean Karate) Training facility

RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS

• – Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
• – Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs
• – Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games
• – Participate in coaching clinic instruction
• – Analyze and evaluate athletes’ or team’s performance
• – Observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and performance

CREDENTIALS

CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, MEMBERSHIPS, AND COURSES

• – Martial arts Master instructor Certification (Minimum 5th Dan Kukkiwon)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• – Willing to travel

• – ability to demonstrate and teach high level Taekwondo tricking techniques (e.g. 540 kick, flip kicks)
