🔥 About Fire Dragon Taekwondo

Established in 1983 by Master Mark Pellerin, Fire Dragon Taekwondo has proudly shaped martial arts education in Southern Alberta for over four decades. Master Pellerin’s inspiring Taekwondo journey began at age 12 in Dresden, Ontario, leading to his first Black Belt in 1978. Following his passion, he opened his initial school after moving to Brooks, Alberta, proudly affiliating with the renowned Grand Master K. H. Min. His commitment to excellence led to expansions into Brooks, Bassano, and Medicine Hat, where he now serves as the esteemed Head Instructor.

In 2011, Fire Dragon Taekwondo welcomed Master Annie An-Pellerin from Seoul, South Korea, an accomplished martial artist and six-time National Black Belt Champion. Master Annie’s impressive achievements include bronze medals at both the 2nd East Asian Games in 1997 and the 2000 Korea Open Chuncheon International Taekwondo Championships. As the Head Coach of the High Performance Athlete Conditioning (HPAC) Team, she has successfully trained 10 Canadian National Champions. Master Annie’s multilingual skills and passion for teaching continue to significantly enrich our school's environment.
